If a swap meet has table top food vendors, the person or organization responsible for the swap meet is required to obtain a Swap Meet Organizer Permit.  In addition, each food vendor is required to obtain their own table top food stand permit.

Swap Meet Organizers

If a swap meet has table top food vendors, the person or organization responsible for the swap meet is required to obtain a Swap Meet Organizer Permit.  The following documents must be submitted at least two weeks prior to operating, and upon renewing the annual organizer permit:

Participating Food Vendors for Swap Meet

Site Plan which includes the following:

  • Locations of table top food vendors
  • Maximum number of vendor spaces
  • Restroom locations
  • Refuse container locations
  • Potable water supply faucets
  • Waste water disposal facilities

Table Top Food Vendors

Food vending operations at a swap meet can consist of whole, uncut produce or packaged nonperishable foods that are properly labeled.  Once a Table Top Food Stand Permit is obtained, you can operate at any swap meet in Riverside County with the approval of the swap meet organizer.  To obtain a Table Top Food Stand Permit the following documents must be submitted:
