County Services To Move To Virtual Methods

In response to the growing number of local coronavirus cases and sharply rising hospitalizations, county services will again be primarily offered through online methods, over the phone or by mail. The County Administrative Center, along with many other county buildings, will close to the public on Monday, July 13.

In response to the growing number of local Covid - 19 cases and sharply rising hospitalizations, our facilities are closed for public access until further notice. We are still available to provide services online, over the phone or by mail.

Fire Prevention in Green Waste Piles

Fires occur every year in the county due to unmonitored green waste piles. These fires can burn for days and can result in costly clean ups, damage to the environment, and a strain on our fire response personnel.

If green material is left in piles for a long period of time, with the right conditions, it will start to decompose, creating a fire.
